Job summary

Lochner is seeking an experienced construction inspector to join our Fort Myers, FL office. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in road and bridge construction inspection, alongside relevant certifications. You will be responsible for inspecting construction work and conducting field tests under the supervision of the Project Administrator.

This position requires independent judgment and knowledge of FDOT procedures. Benefits include a 401(k) plan, medical coverage, paid time off, and a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in construction inspection, including one year in bridge/roadway inspection.
• Familiarity with FDOT Procedures relevant to project duties.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work and conduct field testing.
• Exercise independent judgment in planning work details.
• Perform project-related duties under supervision.

Skills

Road & bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI)

Familiar with FDOT Procedures

Proficient in construction-related computer programs

Education

High school graduate or equivalent
