Job summary

CAMRIS International, LLC is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager for the Pilot Bio-Production Facility at WRAIR in Silver Spring, MD.

The role leads CDMO and facilities projects, overseeing PMO systems to monitor scope, cost, and schedule while coordinating with multiple partner contracts and IT teams. Responsibilities include lifecycle management, equipment readiness, subcontractor coordination, shutdown planning, and governance improvements within a cGMP setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, engineering technology, science, operations management, or closely related discipline with 10 years of experience.
• Demonstrated CDMO industry experience and knowledge of bioprocess timelines, processes, and quality requirements.
• Experience leading development, manufacturing, facilities, IT or other technical infrastructure projects in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage program lifecycle from conception and design through execution.
• Track qualification and operational readiness of equipment and systems as necessary.
• Solution project challenges across multi-disciplinary teams with tracking and reporting.
• Manage actuals vs. forecast and update status with PMO leadership.
• Drive weekly/biweekly meetings across operations, development, QA, and QC.
• Facilitate project team meetings including scheduling, planning, and tracking.
• Coordinate with PBF leads and BD on planning and scope generation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Communicate customer and facility constraints.
• Evaluate schedule constraints, risk, and feasibility of CDMO projects.
• Assist with subcontractor schedule development and maintenance.
• Support shutdown planning and capacity utilization metrics.
• Scale the PMO function as capacity grows.
