Job summary

CAMRIS is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, CDMO and Facilities to support the Pilot Bio-Production Facility (PBF) at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) in Silver Spring, Maryland. This pivotal role oversees PMO systems tracking scope, cost, and schedule while managing relationships with WRAIR contracts and shutdown activities.

You'll lead CDMO projects, capital infrastructure, and cross-functional teams in a regulated environment, coordinating IT and facilities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, engineering technology, science, operations management, or related discipline with 10 years of experience, or equivalent combination.
• At least 5 years in a cGMP-regulated pharma, biopharma, or government facility.
• CDMO industry experience with bioprocess timelines, processes, and quality requirements.
• PM leadership experience across development, manufacturing, facilities, IT or related infra projects.
• Experience planning/executing facility shutdowns in active cGMP environments.
• Proficient oral and written communication.
• Strong Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams skills.
• US work eligibility and Real ID or US passport for base access.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage program lifecycle from conception and design through execution.
• Track qualification and operational readiness of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to address project challenges.
• Manage actuals vs. forecast and update status with leadership.
• Lead scheduling meetings with operations, QA, and QC teams.
• Facilitate project team meetings and tracking activities.
• Collaborate with PBF leads and BD in planning and scope generation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Communicate constraints and risks to project leadership.
• Support shutdown planning and capacity/utilization metrics.
• Scale PMO function as capacity grows.
• Oversee subcontractor scheduling and IT/OT integration in facilities.
