Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ seeks a CDM Trial Lead to drive end-to-end data management for assigned studies. You will oversee data collection design, validation, and integration across diverse data sources, ensuring CDISC standards alignment and regulatory compliance.

The role also includes mentoring CDMs and external data specialists, representing data management in governance forums, and contributing to continuous improvement across the GDMS community.

Qualifications

• Non‑Degree or associate's degree (preferred) with minimum 10 years of directly relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) with minimum 8 years of experience in data management or related field.
• Advanced Degree (Masters or Doctorate) (preferred) with minimum 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data management activities from start-up to database lock and archival.
• Oversee data collection design, validation strategy, and data integration across sources.
• Ensure data standards (CDISC, SDTM, CDASH) and regulatory compliance across trials.
• Provide mentoring and training to CDMs and external data specialists.
• Represent data management in governance forums and cross-functional teams.
