Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a DRG Senior Coding Educator to educate, train, and refine CDI processes in coordination with leadership, ensuring accurate DRG assignments. The role emphasizes onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing education across CDSs and clinicians.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in clinical documentation or coding, licensure (MD or RN), and proficiency with Epic, Meditech, and Cerner. Remote role with potential onsite travel for client engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in clinical documentation and/or coding.
• Experience with multiple EMRs (Epic, Meditech, Cerner).
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop onboarding and training for new CDSs and CDI staff.
• Coordinate education for CDSs, providers, and other clinicians.
• Draft compliant documentation improvement queries.
• Educate CDI team and providers on review functions and policies.
• Audit CDSs to ensure QA outcomes and ongoing education.
