Job summary

The Laundry Worker III at the Richmond State Supported Living Center within the Texas Health and Human Services Commission will supervise and perform complex laundry tasks, ensuring safe operation of CBW and related equipment. The role includes training junior staff, maintaining safety protocols, and accurate record-keeping to support daily operations.

Responsibilities include lining up schedules, ensuring PPE compliance, and coordinating with the Laundry Manager to maintain efficient linen

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry or sewing operations.
• Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe operation of CBW, press, shuttle, and large dryers.
• Lead/training of Laundry Worker I/II; monitor productivity and safety.
• Ensure daily documentation is completed and reports provided to Laundry Manager.
