Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) at the Richmond State Supported Living Center is hiring for a Laundry Technician III to manage CBW operations and oversee the laundry team. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, and maintain daily logs and equipment performance in a busy healthcare laundry environment.

The role requires experience in industrial laundry, physical stamina, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry operations or similar industrial process.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CBW, press, shuttle, dryers, and lint collector at start/end of day.
• Train and guide Laundry Worker I/II to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain safety, PPE, and documentation; ensure clean work areas daily.
• Coordinate with Laundry Manager and Maintenance on equipment performance.
