Sodexo Live! is seeking a Senior Catering Sales Manager for the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The role leads catering sales, builds strong client relationships, and mentors staff to deliver premium food and beverage experiences.

The position partners with culinary and operations teams to design and execute exceptional catering packages, lead high-profile events, and drive revenue growth across key accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5–7 years catering sales experience in a high-volume convention center, hotel, or similar environment.
• Proven track record driving food and beverage sales in a large-scale operation.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze profitability and forecasting.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to lead tastings, present menus, and influence client decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive catering food and beverage revenue by proactively selling packages to new and existing clients.
• Develop detailed proposals highlighting menus, beverage pairings, and premium options.
• Lead tastings, presentations, and client consultations to influence menu selections.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts balancing client satisfaction with profitability.
• Serve as lead contact for major catering accounts and high-profile events.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to design innovative packages.
• Represent the venue at trade shows and events to attract new business.
• Track sales performance, analyze package profitability, and assist in forecasting.
