Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education in partnership with Eastern Connecticut State University in Windham, CT, seeks a Senior Catering Manager to lead university events, from coffee services to Presidential lunches, coordinating with the Executive Chef on menus and service excellence.

You will supervise all catering events, manage labor and food costs, maintain client relationships, and guide catering associates to deliver high-quality experiences on campus and off-campus.

Qualifications

• 4 years of food service experience including 2 years at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Catering experience is required.
• Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet.

Job Summary

Filling every occasion with great food and service! We are currently seeking a Senior Catering Manager for our premiere catering department at Eastern Connecticut State University in Windham, CT. Our Catering Manager will be responsible for developing and driving catering solutions to meet our customer needs, while working closely with the Executive Chef on menu development. Events encompass a diverse spectrum, spanning from coffee services to exclusive VIP dining occasions to Presidential events, hosted both on-campus and off-campus.

Connecticut’s only public liberal arts university.
