Job summary

Paula LeDuc Fine Catering & Events is seeking an Experienced Catering Event Production Manager in the Bay Area to lead production, coordinate with staff and vendors, and ensure flawless event execution from planning through post-event follow-up.

The role requires 3–5 years of management-level experience, strong client service, and an ability to manage budgets and timelines while working nights and weekends as needed. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of management-level experience in event planning and execution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with vendors, clients, and staff.
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
• Deep knowledge of catering workflows, food, and hospitality.
• Experience in managing event budgets and achieving profitability.

Responsibilities

• Provide single-point accountability by directing and coordinating with clients, vendors, and the Events Team.
• Develop and maintain production timelines, budgets, and post-event care.
• Coordinate pre/post planning sessions, site walk-throughs, and lineups.
• Lead ongoing training for Events Team and help implement policies.
• Manage multiple departments to meet production milestones across events.
