Job summary

Compass Group USA's Flik Independent School Dining in Windsor, CT is hiring a Catering Captain for a full-time weekend shift (Friday and Saturday, 11:00 am–8:30 pm). You will coordinate catering staff, prepare and serve food at functions, and may drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to events.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and state-permitted food handler/alcohol-server permits where applicable, with prior catering experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely service.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Ensures proper presentation and serving temperatures; maintains sanitation.
