Job summary

The Western Union Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Category Management - Finance to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for the Finance organization. You will optimize third-party spend, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver measurable value across global suppliers.

You will collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Payments, Accounting, Tech, and business leaders to drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and improved service performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, finance, treasury, payments, or supplier management roles.
• 5+ years of enterprise sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
• Experience in financial services, banking, payments, fintech, treasury services, consulting, technology, or enterprise services.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements with global suppliers or service providers.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise spend portfolios with measurable value outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for Western Union's Finance organization.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across banking services, payments, treasury, fintech, and other enterprise services.
• Manage complex supplier negotiations, renewals, and commercial agreements to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Analyze spend data, supplier performance metrics, and market trends to support business decisions.
• Establish and maintain supplier governance to drive accountability and alignment with objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support new business initiatives and enterprise transformation efforts.
