Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Category Manager for PDS/P&P to develop and execute category strategies across Project Development Services and Programs & Projects. You will partner with procurement, business leadership, and account teams to deliver commercial solutions that balance client needs and business objectives.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of construction procurement, pricing models, benchmarking, and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of construction and project development services experience with 3+ years in procurement category management.
• Knowledge of supplier risk management practices
• Ability to train, mentor, and support internal stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with capital programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with contract negotiation and ongoing contract management
• Continuous improvement mindset with focus on efficiency and value creation
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and drive results
• Strong business acumen and ability to navigate a matrixed organization
• Effective presentation, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for PDS and P&P.
• Lead strategic sourcing activities, supplier selection, and competitive processes.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and contractual arrangements.
• Support the development of procurement playbooks and guidance.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, Risk, and project teams.
