Job summary

Verra Mobility Corporation in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Category Management for Labor & Professional Services. You will shape governance, drive supplier strategies, and oversee complex, high‑spend programs with global reach.

You will partner with HR, Legal, Finance and executive sponsors to deliver strategic sourcing, SOW negotiations, and value realization across the enterprise, including MSP and VMS models, while championing best practices and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in supply chain, finance, project management, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience managing large/complex Professional Services and/or Contingent Labor categories.
• Strong understanding of Big Four service provider ecosystem and workforce operating models.
• Executive communication and storytelling skills; track record influencing VP/C-suite decisions.
• Expert fluency in benchmarking, TCO, complex contracting, and supplier performance governance at scale.
• Proficiency with procure‑to‑pay, RFx processes, and contract basics/playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and sourcing for professional services and contingent labor, across the enterprise.
• Develop labor market intelligence and benchmarks to improve rate competitiveness.
• Drive negotiations for SOW structures, labor mix, discounts, and contract terms.
• Oversee RFx activities and executive governance with strategic partners.
• Sponsor supplier innovation and long‑term value through category strategy.
