Job summary

Verra Mobility in Mesa, Arizona seeks a Senior IT Category Manager to shape technology procurement strategy across software, cloud, telecom, and services. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8–10+ years of progressive IT category management/strategic sourcing experience.
• Deep expertise across enterprise technology procurement (software licensing, SaaS, cloud, telecom, managed services, and tech services).
• Strong understanding of software licensing models, cloud economics, and IT supplier commercial frameworks.
• Executive communication and storytelling skills with influence at VP/C-suite level.
• Proficiency with P2P, CLM, RFx processes and contract lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Owns and leads IT category strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Negotiates with global technology suppliers and manages marquee RFx events.
• Partners with CIO/IT and business functions to align sourcing with objectives.
• Drives cost savings, risk management, and governance across P2P and CLM.
• Mentors procurement professionals and leads cross-functional teams.
• Maintains data quality and audit readiness in procurement systems.
