Job summary

Advantage-Solutions is seeking a Category Insights Senior Analyst to serve as analytical partner for national clients with $20M+ in retail sales in a regional market. You will synthesize data into actionable insights and support sales teams with reports and strategic guidance.

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver ad hoc analyses using NIQ, Circana and BI tools. You will mentor junior analysts and help maintain data quality while shaping recommendations that drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; certification in Category Management a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of CPG or retail data analytics experience
• Travel: No regular travel required and no supervisory responsibilities at this time
• Indirect Reports: May provide project direction and mentoring to other teammates

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Insights: keep a pulse on the business and deliver insights and market data to inform plans.
• Trade & Pricing: develop retail trade & promotional pricing analyses to support the Sales Team.
• Business Reviews & Market Assessments: provide data-driven insights for line reviews and customer selling stories.
• Project Management: prioritize and manage project schedules, coordinate activities, and resolve issues.
• Client/Customer Partnership: build strong relationships and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
