Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Category Senior Engineer to anchor technical execution across a category, coordinating with Factory Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, and Corporate Engineering. You will drive standardization, capability building, and strategy transformation across multiple factories in the network.

You will lead technical trials, capital planning input, and governance, while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainable performance in a global food company.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering Field (Mechanical, Process, Chemical).
• Minimum 10+ years of technical project engineering experience.
• Corporate Engineering experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience managing internal and external teams.
• Knowledge of food processing plants or similar industry.
• Understanding of food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Financial analysis and business drivers understanding.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects; travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and category-wide guidance for engineering standards.
• Translate strategies into executable technical plans and roadmaps.
• Lead evaluation and development of engineering solutions.
• Drive process optimization, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with EFCA and hygienic design standards.
• Develop factory engineering capabilities through coaching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver objectives.
• Monitor KPIs like process capability and cost performance.
• Lead feasibility assessments and capital planning input.
