Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Category Senior Engineer to act as the technical anchor for an assigned category, translating strategy into executable engineering solutions across multiple factories. You will provide category-wide technical leadership, drive process improvements, and ensure alignment with safety, sustainability, and compliance standards.

The role requires broad engineering expertise, strong collaboration across Factory Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, and Corporate

Qualifications

Bachelor or higher degree in engineering (Mechanical, Process, Chemical)
10+ years in a technical/project engineering role
Corporate Engineering experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food processing equipment and hygienic design is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for assigned manufacturing technologies and process systems across the category
Translate business strategies into executable technical plans and capital investment prioritization
Define engineering standards, governance, and compliance programs across factories
Drive reliability, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives
Coach and develop factory engineering capabilities
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with business goals
Monitor key engineering KPIs and ensure safe, compliant operations
