You will lead a small team, collaborate cross-functionally, and own strategic category initiatives, pricing, and promotions to meet financial goals and growth targets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of merchandising experience.
• Proven experience as a Retail Buyer or similar role in retail.
• Able to lead a category team and drive results.
• Advanced strategic and analytical skills.
• Advanced collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced negotiation and communication skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own category strategy for assigned pod.
• Contribute market performance insights to the team strategy.
• Assist with performance analysis and competitive shopping.
• Support execution of brand strategy as directed by category leaders.
• Assist vendor strategy with partner negotiations and communications.
• Negotiate prices and terms with national brand suppliers.
• Partner with sourcing to meet IMU goals.
• Coordinate item selection and space/merch presentation.
• Develop pricing and promotional strategy to support assortment.
