Job summary

The Company is seeking a Sr. Category Analyst to support merchandising teams with reporting and analysis of pricing, financials and customer behavior.

You will collaborate across departments to optimize assortments and align with category directors and manufacturer goals, while leveraging PowerBI and Excel to deliver actionable insights. Responsibilities include dashboard creation, pricing analytics, margin analysis and store level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job‑related experience
• Experience with analysis in a professional setting
• Experience in merchandising is a plus
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Proficient in PowerBI

Responsibilities

• Create dashboards and reporting to support assortment and merchandising decisions.
• Perform pricing analytics, margin and profitability analyses, and category performance reviews.
• Provide store level performance reporting and data error reporting for resolution.
• Collaborate with category managers and other departments to tailor assortments and optimize store space.
• Monitor and analyze store scanning and POS data to assess changes in performance.
