Job summary

SAS Retail Services in North Carolina is seeking a Sr Category Analyst to develop and deliver reports and analyses on merchandising, pricing, financials, and customer behavior. You will optimize assortment and work with stakeholders to align with category directors and manufacturer goals, focusing on schematic assortments with the schematic analyst team.

Qualifications

• Experience with analysis in a professional setting.
• Experience in merchandising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering reports and analyses on merchandising, pricing, financials, and customer behavior.
• Dashboard creation and pricing analytics to support category decisions.
• Margin and profitability analysis and category performance reporting.
• Store level performance reporting and data quality error reporting.
• Collaborate with category managers to address store space limitations with innovative solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate store scanning and pos-reset changes for impact.
