SAS is seeking a Sr Category Analyst in Matthews, NC to develop and deliver reports and analyses on merchandising, pricing, financials, and customer behavior. You will optimize assortment in partnership with the schematic analyst team and collaborate with Category Directors and manufacturers.

The role emphasizes dashboard creation, store performance reporting, and data-driven insights to drive decisions across departments. Strong PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job-related experience.
• Experience with analysis in a professional setting.
• Experience in merchandising is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assortment creation deliverables on schedule with cross-department collaboration.
• Create dashboards.
• Pricing analytics.
• Margin and profitability analysis.
• Category performance analysis.
• Store level performance reporting.
• Report data errors and provide assortment analytics.
• Assist category managers with store space constraints and solutions.
• Monitor store scanning and assess process improvements.
