Job summary

COUNTRY Financial in Belleville, IL seeks a Sr Catastrophe Claims Specialist for a fully remote role with extensive field duties. You will respond to deployment directives, travel to catastrophe areas, evaluate, negotiate, and settle personal and commercial property claims nationwide.

This role requires 7+ years of catastrophe claims experience, a valid driver’s license, and a Part 107 drone license within 5 months.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of catastrophe claims experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Part 107 drone license to be obtained within 5 months of start date.
• Willingness to travel extensively and deployments on short notice.
• Physical ability to inspect properties, climb ladders, and work in challenging conditions.
• May require extended hours and overnight deployments.

Responsibilities

• Responds to deployment directives and travels to catastrophe areas to evaluate, negotiate, and settle personal and commercial lines property claims.
• Investigates and completes physical inspections, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates per policy provisions.
• Initiates contact with insureds and relevant parties to gather information and explain the claims process.
