Job summary

Luxfer MEL Technologies is seeking a Sales Manager for the US Catalysis accounts, with extensive travel across The Americas. The role focuses on growing sales, revenue, and margins in the Chemicals/Energy/Defense sectors, collaborating with sales, technical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in science/chemistry and 7+ years in sales or business development, with strong interpersonal and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Chemistry.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales, Technical Sales or Business Development, preferably in Chemicals/Energy/Defense.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience using MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business relationship with Direct Accounts within the Catalysis area.
• Deliver annual/quarterly financial targets in line with the budget.
• Develop and grow relationships with customers.
• Develop new sales opportunities (customers/products).
• Support and coordinate new product introductions to customers.
• Participate in the innovation product portfolio aligned to company goals.
• Manage the Opportunity Pipeline within CRM.
• Assist in pricing, handle customer complaints and credit queries.
• Participate in monthly forecasting and planning.
• Travel to customers/events and represent the company.
