American International Group (AIG) is seeking a Casualty Coverage and Mass Tort Senior Claims Adjuster to join our claims team. You will evaluate complex coverage disputes, hire counsel, and guide resolution strategies for insureds and our clients.

This role requires strong negotiation and analytical skills in a dynamic environment. Based in Atlanta, GA, the role focuses on liability coverage, mass tort matters, and collaboration with business partners to address evolving risk exposures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Legal, Insurance, Construction Defect or Environmental experience preferred.
• Ability to handle complex claims involving diverse coverage issues related to GL and Environmental policies.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, along with excellent communication, negotiation and investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate coverage on sophisticated insurance products.
• Hire and manage counsel to help evaluate coverage and to defend our insureds.
• Assess damages with support of outside experts.
• Evaluate financial impact to AIG and to our insureds.
• Formulate and execute strategies for favorable claim resolution; negotiate with insureds and third parties.
• Advise business partners concerning exposures and concerning potential product changes and enhancements.
• Advise claims and business leaders on emerging risks.
