Kewadin Casino is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Hotel housekeeping department at the Sault Ste. Marie location.

Under the direction of the Director of Hotel, Retail & Sales, you will oversee quality standards, productivity, and customer service to meet and exceed guest expectations. You’ll manage team hiring, training, budgeting, cleaning schedules, inspections, and compliance with regulatory requirements while coordinating with other departments to maintain smooth hotel

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in housekeeping management.
• Certifications/Background: CEH preferred; criminal background check required by NIGC rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel housekeeping team; interview, hire, train, and performance reviews.
• Assist front line staff during rush periods.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with other departments to minimize disruption.
• Develop and manage department budget; monitor expenses.
• Order supplies and prepare RFPs for outside services.
• Maintain SOPs and conduct regular room/space inspections.
• Address customer and staff issues to maintain high satisfaction.
• Monitor safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across spaces.
