Job summary
GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking an experienced Driller Leader to work on deep casing projects across the United States. You will apply your expertise in geotechnical drilling, oversee casing installation, and mentor crew members to meet project specs with precision.
You will operate in challenging environments, prioritize safety, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of deep casing drilling experience in geotechnical or ground support applications.
- Experience with concentric casing systems (e.g., Symmetrix, ODEX, Elemex, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to advance casing through collapsing overburden, mixed face conditions and high groundwater environments.
- Experience maintaining verticality, alignment, and embedment tolerances within engineered specifications.
- Strong understanding of casing sequencing, grout control, and structural load transfer principles.
Responsibilities
- Apply geohazard mitigation skills across a variety of projects.
- Execute safety plans and protect personnel as priority.
- Coach and develop teammates to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and jobsite organization.
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
