Job summary

GeoStabilization International (GSI) seeks an experienced driller to lead deep casing drilling projects across the United States. You will apply geotechnical expertise on challenging sites, uphold safety plans, ensure ground control, and focus on casing integrity.

This hourly leadership role offers extensive travel, competitive pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and generous paid time off. Elite operators mentor crews and advance into senior field leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of deep casing drilling experience in geotechnical or ground support applications.
Demonstrated experience with concentric casing systems (e.g., Symmetrix, ODEX, Elemex, or equivalent).
Experience with duplex head and dual rotary drilling systems.
Experience with percussion drilling systems.
Experience with temporary and permanent casing installation.
Experience with tie-back and micropile casing systems.
Ability to advance casing through collapsing overburden and variable rock-to-soil transitions.
Strong understanding of casing sequencing, grout control, and structural load transfer principles.
