Lowe's is seeking a store associate in Seaford, DE to provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, process transactions, and maintain store standards. You will help customers locate products, demonstrate features, and ensure accurate loading and checkout procedures.

The role includes operating cash registers, ensuring security, and supporting front-end operations to improve checkout efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable

Responsabilités

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions by taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information
• Coaches, develops, provides feedback, and trains associates in departmental duties or sales opportunities (CSA Front End Team)
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines
• Provides proper monetary change to CSA Front End associates for register activities
• Removes security tags, verifies product information, and bags merchandise for customers
• Assists in line vesting to help checkout turnaround time and open registers when needed
• Prepares register area at shift start/end by checking functionality of registers and scanners and stocking supplies
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Enters and submits customer orders, prints order tickets, verifies receipts, and signs off on loading tickets
• Looks up product information and competitor prices for price match
• Records all items used in the store on use lists
• Completes cash counting and daily reconciliation duties
• Monitors cash in drawer and recycler levels
• Monitors entrances/exits and assists customers or associates who trigger alarms
• Detects signs of shoplifting and communicates to management/Asset Protection
• Ensures housekeeping standards and Zone Recovery for store cleanliness
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment including safety reviews and hazard notes
• Adheres to safety requirements for top stock safety and equipment use
• Operates store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, cash recycler, CCTV, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned
