You will handle price checks, returns processing, and ensure accurate tickets while upholding Lowe's service standards across departments. The role emphasizes teamwork, training of associates, maintaining store safety, and efficient register operation, with opportunities for growth within a major home

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure if required by law.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using retail technology (smartphones/tablets).

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service following Lowe's policies and programs.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, loading merchandise.
• Answers questions and guides customers through areas and projects.
• Communicates stock, warranties and feature benefits information.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales.
• Operates cash register and processes transactions per guidelines.
• Ensures secure handling of cash and drawer reconciliation.
• Verifies product information and bags merchandise for customers.
• Assists at checkout to optimize line coverage and efficiency.
• Inspects returns and loads orders with proper tickets and receipts.
• Looks up product info and price-matches items as needed.
• Maintains store area safety, cleanliness, and equipment functionality.
