Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
• Less than 1 year experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• 1 year retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies and programs.
• Seeks customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Listens and responds to customer and employee questions by guiding them through projects in-store.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special orders, feature benefits, and warranties.
• Coaches, develops, provides feedback, and trains associates in departmental duties or sales opportunities (CSA Front End Team).
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines.
• Maintains proper cash handling and drawers, and assists with checkout coverage as needed.
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages and processes relevant actions.
• Enters and processes customer orders, prints order tickets, verifies receipts, and signs loading tickets.
• Looks up product information and checks competitor prices for price matching.
