Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer and common retail technology.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's policies and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions and guides through projects in-store.
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds.
• Monitors cash in drawer and daily reconciliation duties as assigned.
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages and ensures proper loading of orders.
• Looks up product information and competitor prices to verify price match.
• Maintains store use lists and ensures store area cleanliness and safety.
