Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional service at the front end of the store. You will help customers locate and load merchandise, answer questions, and guide them through projects while maintaining accuracy at the register and following store procedures.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, handling returns, and ensuring the sales floor is organized, secure, and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year experience using a computer or common retail technology.
• 1 year retail cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service at all times.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Answer questions and direct customers to product areas or provide project guidance.
• Explain stock, special orders, warranties, and Lowe's programs to customers.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties or sales opportunities.
• Process sales, returns, and refunds at the register per guidelines.
• Monitor cash and drawer to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in line vesting and open/close registers as needed.
• Inspect returned items for damages and ensure store cleaniness.
