Division of Child and Family Services in Nevada is seeking a Casework Management Specialist III for Family First Prevention Services across Elko, Fallon, Fernley or Yerington offices. The role includes assessing families, determining FFPSA eligibility, and coordinating referrals to FFPSA providers.

The CMS III will develop and monitor safety and case plans, collaborate with courts, schools and community partners, and ensure ongoing engagement while complying with IV-E requirements and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of professional casework experience.
• Or one year of experience as CMS II or Social Worker II in Nevada state service.
• Experience applying evidence-based practices and conducting assessments.

Responsabilités

• Develop, manage, and implement case and safety plans.
• Interview clients and collaterals to assess needs and rights.
• Coordinate referrals to FFPSA providers and community resources.
• Monitor progress, re-assess eligibility, and adjust plans.
• Prepare reports for courts and maintain case records.
