SVS is seeking a Lead Case Worker to supervise Case Workers serving shelter residents and community clients across the Advocacy Center and West Jordan Shelter. The role emphasizes trauma-informed advocacy, safety planning, and coordination with shelter and clinical teams.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year experience as a Case Worker in domestic violence or crisis services, a Bachelor’s in human services, and the ability to manage caseloads while maintaining strong community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a Case Worker in social work/services in the field of domestic violence or crisis situations.
• Must complete 40 hours of core advocacy training with the Utah Domestic Violence Coalition within the first year of employment.
• Current Driver’s License and auto insurance required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

• Provide supervision and mentorship to Case Workers and ensure case documentation meets program standards.
• Educate clients on housing programs and assist with eligibility documentation and rights guidance.
• Attend weekly meetings with shelter and clinical teams to align client safety and progress with program goals.
• Oversee housing contract compliance and assist with audits and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with clients and SVS staff.
