Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a High Value Case Manager to manage a varied caseload, assist attorneys with settlements, and prepare documents. The position is in-office five days per week with opportunities to interact with insurance carriers and medical providers, ensuring thorough case development and settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a case manager preferred.
• At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience.
• Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, and court rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive daily interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers via phone and in person.
• Order medical records from providers and communicate with them.
• Obtain documents to support injury and liability positions.
• Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and balances.
• Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers.
• Negotiate deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers.
• Work with coworkers involved in case files and support roles.
• Maintain organized case files.
• Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers.
• Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required.
