Job summary

Johnson County Government is seeking a Field Services Senior Case Manager to lead staff, ensure high-quality community supervision and case management, and guide daily operations. The role emphasizes ethics, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving to improve public safety and client outcomes.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and several years of experience in corrections or human services, with preference for supervisory expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Science, Social Work, or a related field.
• Four years of experience in corrections, case management, or related human services.
• Experience demonstrating knowledge of community supervision, case management, client engagement, risk and needs assessment, and/or evidence-informed practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop Staff and promote accountability, professional growth, and succession planning.
• Ensure quality community supervision and case management through evidence-informed practices and adherence to policies.
• Lead daily operations and program performance, including workload distribution and staffing coverage.
• Advance strategic initiatives and organizational improvement through policy development and data-driven evaluation.
• Build partnerships and represent the department in meetings, reports, and court testimony.
• Promote safety, accountability, and professional excellence, including incident leadership and ethical standards.
