Job summary

KerberRose S.C. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Client Advisory Services (CAS) team in Wisconsin.

You will provide high-quality accounting, financial reporting, and advisory support to a diverse client portfolio, preparing financial statements and performing complex accounting functions with a focus on accuracy and client service. The ideal candidate has 3–6+ years of accounting experience, familiarity with GAAP, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license or candidate preferred.
• 3–6+ years in public accounting CAS or corporate accounting.
• Experience with financial statements and management reporting.
• GAAP knowledge and audits support.
• Proficiency with Excel and cloud-based accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules per GAAP and tax rules.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Maintain internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to external auditor requests.
• Build strong client relationships and provide high-level client service.
• Understand clients' operations, policies, and accounting standards.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and documenting processes.
