Mowery & Schoenfeld, LLC is seeking a Client Advisory Services (CAS) Senior Associate to join our CAS Advisory team in Lincolnshire, IL. The role targets candidates with 3+ years of accounting experience, CPA eligibility, and strong client service skills.

Responsibilities include client accounting advisory projects, month-end close, financial statements, training clients on new procedures, and supporting audits and tax filings. Bachelor's degree in accounting required; advanced degree a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• CPA eligibility
• 3+ years accounting experience, 1 year at senior associate level
• Analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project mgmt, time mgmt, written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Client Accounting advisory projects, including accounting remediations and U.S. GAAP conversions
• Month-end close process
• Preparation of financial statements
• Client trainings on new procedures and accounting principles
• Preparation of financial forecasts & KPI reports
• Bank statement reconciliation
• Accounts Payable (bill entry, disbursements, manage vendor relationships)
• Accounts Receivable (invoice creation, cash receipts recording)
• Payroll accounting
• Retirement contributions processing
• Maintenance of sub-ledgers for all balance sheet accounts
• Accounting support for tax filings (1096,1099, payroll tax, sales tax)
• Accounting support on annual audits and transaction projects
