Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or plans to determine layout and materials required.
• Shape or cut materials using hand tools or power saws.
• Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring, trim, or hardware.
• Verify trueness of structures using plumb bob and level.
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures.
• Operate basic construction equipment and maintain a safe job site.
