Avion Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Cargo Project Office in Huntsville, AL.

This role focuses on implementing testing disciplines across the acquisition life cycle and coordinating with the Development/Modernization, Production, and International teams to validate hardware and software against requirements. You will prepare and deliver test plans and reports, track performance and budgets, and participate in funding meetings.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• Minimum 17 years of relevant experience in Army Aviation testing.
• Experience with Chinook, Blackhawk, Apache, or Fixed Wing platforms.
• Experience drafting TEMPs/TES and test strategies.
• US citizen eligible for DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Test Analyst/Engineer for Cargo PM; implement testing disciplines in DT&E and OT&E.
• Collaborate with Development/Modernization, Production and International Teams to execute testing activities.
• Define and refine testing requirements; verify hardware/software against specs.
• Prepare and deliver test plans/reports; track performance and budgets.
• Lead IPTs and support ROM estimates; participate in funding meetings.
