At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. We provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes.

Qualifications

• We require at least 1 year of personal care experience.
• Experience as Caregiver, PCA, HHA or similar role is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing is required.
• Must be physically able to perform essential duties.
• Must have reliable transportation; if transporting clients, valid license & insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual and dependable.
• Ability to work independently following the client’s care plan.
• Must pass criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship.
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily routines.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding; light housekeeping.
• Assist with laundry and maintaining a clean, safe home.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and community activities.
• Support independence and dignity for clients.
• Offer emotional support and encourage social engagement.
• Follow each client's care plan.
