Job summary

Servant Home Care in Indianapolis, IN seeks Home Health Aides (HHA) and experienced caregivers for in-home care in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. We offer part-time, full-time, and PRN positions; caring for seniors with reliability and compassion.

Caregivers must have reliable transportation, clean background, BLS, ability to lift, and strong communication. Duties include direct patient care, hygiene assistance, transport to appointments, and maintaining a safe, respectful home environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years caregiver experience; HIPAA familiarity.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and car insurance.
• Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
• Must pass background checks and TB test; CPR certification recommended.
• Flexible hours to fit patient schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance to individuals in a home setting.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Lift and transfer individuals using safe body mechanics and devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized living environment for residents.
• Drive residents to appointments, activities, or outings as needed.
• Safely transport patients to medical appointments and community care locations.
• Document transportation activities according to policies.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance during transit.
