Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated caregiver for full-time duties in an Arizona community. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities, transporting them to activities, and responding to emergencies with a calm, compassionate approach.

Required: Arizona Caregiver Certificate, high school diploma, CPR certification, and English proficiency. Experience with the elderly is preferred; vaccinations are encouraged but not required.

Qualifications

• Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with elderly population preferred.
• Calm, helpful and respectful countenance appreciated.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in daily living activities (grooming, bathing, personal environment).
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans and obtaining vital signs.
