Job summary
Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a compassionate full-time caregiver to assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment. You will transport residents within the community and respond to emergencies, following resident care plans and obtaining vital signs.
Schedule: 2pm-10pm, full-time. Required: Arizona Caregiver Certificate, high school diploma, CPR, and English proficiency.
Qualifications
- Arizona Caregiver Certificate required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
- CPR certification.
- Experience with elderly population preferred.
- Must read, write, speak and understand English.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, personal environment).
- Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
- Respond to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
- Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
