Job summary

The Springs at Sherwood is hiring compassionate caregivers to build meaningful connections with our senior residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. No experience required; training with a Mentor/Trainer is provided.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including swing/evening 2pm–10pm. We offer paid training, a supportive team, and generous benefits such as health insurance, retirement options, PTO, and an on-site gym.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
• A passion for working with the senior population.
• Experience in senior living or caregiving is a plus, but we welcome all applicants, even those new to the field!
• Committed to regular and reliable attendance!

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
• Helping with mobility and transfers.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting in the development and revision of service plans by informing supervisors of resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches.
• Responding to pages and call lights as soon as possible.
