Job summary

Sonata Lake Mary is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our wellness team, providing services to residents according to their individual care plans. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health changes, maintain supplies, and support staff to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Preferred candidates have experience with seniors and a caring approach; state CNA registration is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to perform tasks up to 60 pounds.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with Residents, families, peers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assists Residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility).
• Monitors health changes and reports them to Wellness Director promptly.
• Keeps inventory of medical supplies and assists with ordering.
• Supports with shift coverage and orientation of new Wellness Associates.
• Responds to emergencies and provides first-aid and follow-up when needed.
