• Previous experience in long term care or assisted living.
• Experience with dementia residents.

Aufgaben

• Orients and mentors newly hired resident assistants.
• Provides individualized attention to maintain residents' well-being.
• Maintains care plans and reports to the nurse or care planning staff.
• Assists with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding and toileting.
• Records health information and reports changes to the nurse on duty.
• Ensures privacy, dignity and safety of residents and documents incidents.

Ausbildung

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred

PCA/HHA training program (54 hours) per EOEA

Experience in long term care / assisted living

Experience with dementia residents
