Job summary

myPlace Health, a SCAN Health Plan program in Compton, CA, seeks a Driver for its PACE services. You will transport participants to centers and appointments, ensure safety, and assist with activities. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care for seniors.

The position offers a base hourly wage of $23.00–$25.00, eligibility for bonuses, and benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) with employer match. Fluency in English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; test will assess proficiency.
• At least one year of driving frail or elderly participants safely.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport participants to center and appointments.
• Ensure participant safety during all transport stages.
• Observe and report changes in physical or emotional health to IDT.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Communicate clearly with participants, team members, and contacts.
• Assist with center activities and keep spaces clean and organized.
• Support organizational growth and take on additional duties.
