Job summary

PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS) is seeking a Therapist (Psychologist, LCPC, or LCSW) for multi-location coverage in Washington, DC. The role offers a flexible schedule with day shifts, no nights or on-call, and a supportive team in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.

You will provide counseling, coordinate care with facility teams, and adhere to clinical guidelines while promoting patient-centered care in a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker (MD, DC, VA, or PA required)
• Monday–Friday availability during normal business hours
• Ability to stand for 20 minutes and lift up to 15 pounds
• Values-driven and eager to grow with a team committed to doing the right thing, always

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling to patients
• Coordinate care and consult with facility teams (Administrator, Director of Nursing, Social Services)
• Adhere to state and federal clinical guidelines and PGS protocols
• Educate staff and support holistic, patient-centered care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation
